Rich in History
The Spanish Garden Inn’s story is meaningful and captures the essence of the Santa Barbara region. Inspired in art and architecture, the Spanish Garden Inn is its own form of art, complete in sophistication and Spanish-style detail. The lot was originally the Santa Barbara School of the Arts, but was closed in 1938 due to the Great Depression. The present-day owners have custom-designed the entire hotel to become a serene oasis for their guests. It was not easy, but every blood sweat and tear has contributed to making their dream a reality. Once the Spanish Garden Inn opened its doors in 2001 it has consistently won over each and every one of their guests with the romance and inspired beauty in every detail. The hotel’s hand-crafted art and old California charm has made this space a home for art once again.
